Mission Job Share

Laurie Cremona and Elaine Miller are career partners, dedicated to benefiting corporations, women and communities by catapulting job-sharing into a mainstream work option.  They founded Mission Job Share in 2008.

Before leading Mission Job Share, they served as vice president of Worldwide Services Marketing at BEA Systems where they managed a worldwide team responsible for all aspects of marketing BEA’s Education, Customer Support, Consulting services and Global and Enterprise Accounts.

They have also served as vice president of Marketing Strategy and Operations in BEA’s corporate marketing department, leading a worldwide team responsible for customer, market, operational and portfolio intelligence; goal cascading and process improvement.  Their organization designed and implemented a process to review field marketing effectiveness at the regional, account, and marketing program level to guide future corporate marketing investment globally.

Laurie and Elaine’s job share began when Laurie invited Elaine to share her role as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Operations at BEA.  Previously Laurie acted as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt at both GE Financial and Sun Microsystems.

Laurie and Elaine’s job share was profiled by the San Francisco Chronicle, in their article, Firms Show Flexibility on Career-Life Balance:

Elaine joined Laurie at BEA after working as a consultant, providing expertise in the development of marketing strategy, planning, and implementation.  Prior to consulting, Elaine was at Sun Microsystems for 16 years holding positions in Software Marketing Strategy, Business Development, Product Marketing, Technology Licensing, Program Management and Industry Marketing.
